Public Relations and Marketing (PKM)
The founding of the Public Relations and Marketing (PKM) department was one of the first steps in establishing the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. The department is responsible for internal and external communications as well as for presenting a consistent image to the outside world. In addition to press releases on the latest innovative topics from our research and teaching, the PKM also produces a variety of informational materials such as brochures, journals and magazines for our staff, students and the general public. The responsibilities of the PKM also include organizing events such as open days at the Institute, our “children’s university” programmes, cultural events, and also appearances at national and international exhibits and fairs.
